haa, the ironic thing is, i want to go to america as soon as i can, mabye not to stay, but to at least travel, i love the sound of the soulthern states. It is my plan for a gap year ;)

Wow, to be honest, America and England sound kinda the same. We too are comercialised, and have, well no soul. To be honest we are American Wanbees. There are good little towns though, Whitby is amazing, and I like most of northumberland. But london is just like every other city, with a starbucks on every corner, and no little independent shops.
Have you ever heard of a guy called Dave Gorman? He traveled over america without using any chain shops, or inns or even petrol stations. And it is this incomercialised side of america that apeals to me. {i read his book :D}
